Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of S J Drainage Services Ltd's services. By accessing and using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.



2. Services Provided

S J Drainage Services Ltd offers a range of drainage services including, but not limited to:


-Sewer & Drain cleaning.
-CCTV inspections
-Sewer & Drain repairs.
-Sewer & Drainage system installation
-Emergency Call out services.


3. Quotations and Estimates

  • All quotations provided are estimates based on the initial inspection and are subject to change if additional work is required.


-Any changes to the quotation will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding with the work.


4. Payment Terms

  • All pricing will be subject to 20% VAT.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For works where materials are required, there will be a deposit required before works are to proceed to cover the costings of materials.
  • Overdue payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 13% (8% statutory interest + 5% Bank of England base rate) per month.




5. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price.


6. Liability

  • S J Drainage Services Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
  • We will take all necessary precautions to avoid damage to your property, but we are not responsible for any pre-existing issues or damages caused by unforeseen circumstances.


7. Warranties

  • We provide a 12-month warranty on all repair work. This warranty does not cover the following ....
  • Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or abuse of the repaired system is typically not covered. For example, flushing inappropriate items down the drain that cause blockages.


-Natural Disasters: Damage resulting from natural events such as floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions is often excluded from warranty coverage.

-Pre-existing Conditions: Issues that existed before the repair work was carried out are usually not covered. The warranty typically applies only to the specific repair work performed.

-Third-party Interference: If another contractor or individual performs work on the system after the initial repair, this can void the warranty. The original company may not cover any issues arising from third-party interference.

-Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear over time is generally not covered. Warranties usually cover defects in workmanship or materials, not the natural degradation of components.

-Unauthorized Modifications: Any modifications or alterations made to the repaired system without the company's approval can void the warranty.

-Acts of God: Similar to natural disasters, any unforeseen events beyond human control, such as lightning strikes or other "acts of God," are typically excluded.


8. Health and Safety

  • Our team follows strict health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of both our employees and clients.
